Red, white, and blue ruled at our monthly luncheon meeting, with flags on each table and many members proudly wearing patriotic colors. There was also a lovely quilt made by Darlene Holden on display, and David Krenk brought in a patriotic tablecloth along with a couple of ties—all fitting perfectly with the theme. Such interesting and beautiful items!
Highlights from the Business Meeting:
- A group will be attending a Florence Y’alls baseball game on August 14th—always a fun time at the ballpark!
- A parish bus trip to Maysville to see the Stations of the Cross at The Gardens of St. Patrick’s is scheduled for July 10th.

Starlette Fowler from Bluegrass Hospice shared important information about advance directives in line with Kentucky requirements. She emphasized that having these forms in place is a true gift to our loved ones.
Upcoming Event:
Our Annual Picnic will be held on July 8th with barbecue on the menu!
Smokin This ’n That will cater with barbecue pork, chicken, and all the fixings—mmm, good!
