Free backpacks in Covington

Free backpacks will be given away at the Backpacks Bonanza at St. Elizabeth Healthcare in Covington from 9am to noon on Saturday, Aug. 8 to Northern Kentucky students in pre-school through the 12th grade, including home schoolers. Parents/guardians should bring photo ID’s for themselves, a recent piece of mail or lease with their current address, and Social Security of medical cards for their kids.
