DESCRIPTION:Our monthly luncheon meeting was held as usual on the second Wednesday of the month in Brodnick Hall with tulip decorations brightening up the room. Robby Brockman from the Extension service covered some lawn care tips and ornamental shrubs that would be good for this area. The business meeting included birthdays\, anniversaries and details on the annual picnic in July. The charity fund for Rose Garden Mission is growing\, and they will also benefit from our Christmas raffle in December. The pizza\, salad and desserts were delicious. Thanks Food Committee! \nJune 10 will be our next gathering\, and we will celebrate Flag Day with patriotic decorations. Get our your red\, white\, and blue and come join us. The menu is beef pot roast\, roasted potatoes\, carrots\, rolls and butter. Please have reservations in by June 2 by contacting David Krenk at younginspirit@yahoo.com or call 859-462-9311. Cost is $16\, Starlette Fowler will address the subject of advance directives which are important for us to have. Socialization is good for our mental health\, and this club is where you can find it.
